The Independent Reviewer produces annual reports on different aspects of the operation of terrorism legislation, which are then laid before Parliament by the Home Secretary or the Treasury. Thematic reports in relation to terrorism are also produced from time to time.

All the independent reviewer's reports are intended to inform the public and political debate on the use of counter-terrorism legislation in the UK.
