I gave written evidence to the House of Lords EU Affairs Committee on the UK contribution to the EU counter-terrorism effort, for its April 2013 report on the proposed opt-out from EU criminal justice measures.

That evidence was based partly on fact-finding trips to Brussels, where I met with the EU’s Counter-Terrorism Co-ordinator and a wide variety of officials and MEPs, and to Europol and Eurojust in The Hague.  The evidence was summarised in my 2013 Terrorism Acts report (2.57-2.61).
